Vol. 236 No. 13

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Limerick Drainage.

7.

asked the Minister for Finance when work will commence on the drainage of the Mulcaire and Groody rivers, Limerick.

Until such time as formal schemes under the Arterial Drainage Act, 1945, for these catchments have been prepared and exhibited it will not be possible to say when work will commence.

The Parliamentary Secretary cannot say when work will commence?

In the case of the Mulcaire, as the Deputy may know, the survey has been completed. In the case of the Groody a scheme has been designed. I am not able to say when work will commence.
