Vol. 236 No. 14

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Postal Vote Secrecy.

30.

asked the Minister for Justice if any member of the Garda Síochána complained against the absence of complete secrecy in the postal vote during the recent referendum; and if he has any evidence that a considerable number of Gardaí refrained from utilising the postal vote on this ground.

No complaint of the nature referred to has been received by me or by the Commissioner, Garda Síochána, from any member of the Force.

I have no evidence of the kind referred to in the second part of the Question.
