asked the Minister for Education if he will give a list of the national schools to be built in County Wexford.

With your permission, a Leas-Cheann Comhairle, I propose to circulate for inclusion in the Official Report a statement in tabular form giving the information requested by the Deputy.

Following is the statement:—

County Wexford

New schools to be built

Clonroche Ballyroebuck Ballycullane (St. Leonards) St. Patrick's Special, Enniscorthy.

These schools are in the course of erection.

Newbawn Kilmyshall Ballycanew Ballaghkeane

Grants have been sanctioned in these cases but contracts have not yet been placed.

These cases are at various stages in relation to the sanction of grants. The schools marked * are small schools in relation to which investigations are in progress to ascertain if the pupils can be suitably provided for in larger school units, either by amalgamation with existing schools or provision of central schools.
