With your permission, a Cheann Comhairle, I propose to take Questions Nos. 26 to 37, inclusive, together.

I understand from Donegal County Council that they are negotiating the purchase of housing sites at Clonmany, Creeslough and Carrigart; that they have acquired a site for six houses at Carndonagh; that consultant architects have been appointed by them for schemes of ten houses at Moville, about 20 houses at Downings and 16 houses at Carrigans; that plans have been prepared and are under consideration by them for schemes of 12 houses at Kilmacrenan, and 16 houses at Lifford; that they are reconsidering a scheme of six potentially serviceable cottages at Manorcunningham, in respect of which I have approved plans provisionally; that they are not yet in a position to have work commenced on schemes of eight dwellings at Carrigart and ten at Newtowncunningham, in respect of which I have approved tender and loan proposals; and that they are reconsidering their proposal for the acceptance of a tender for 16 dwellings at Raphoe, in respect of which they were recently informed by my Department that the price was considered excessive.

Did the Minister say that he has sanctioned plans for Manorcunningham or Newtowncunningham?

I said that I have sanctioned tender and loan proposals for eight dwellings at Carrigart and ten at Newtowncunningham. In respect of Manorcunningham I said that the council are reconsidering a scheme of six potentially serviceable cottages in respect of which I have approved plans provisionally.

Can I take it that there will be money available to build these houses?
