Vol. 237 No. 3

Ceisteanna — Questions. Oral Answers. - Forestry Workers' Pensions.

87.

asked the Minister for Lands if he will provide a small pension for forestry workers at the age of 65 years who owing to economic reasons would otherwise have to work a bonus scheme till they reached 70 years of age.

Forestry workers are one of several analogous groups in casual employment in the public service who are non-pensionable and it would be impracticable to single them out for special treatment in this regard.
