asked the Minister for Local Government when application was made by Limerick County Council for the erection of houses at Murroe; and when he proposes to sanction this application.

Plans and an estimate of cost for a scheme of four houses at Murroe, County Limerick, were received in my Department on the 4th September, 1968. The estimated cost was considered excessive and the proposal was discussed locally between officers of my Department and of the housing authority. I expect to be in a position to approve the plans within a few days, subject to certain economies in cost being made.
