Vol. 237 No. 5

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Kerry Schools.

5.

asked the Minister for Finance the number of newly built national schools in County Kerry in each year since 1966; and how many he proposes to build in the next two financial years.

Ten new schools have been completed in County Kerry since 1st January, 1966, that is to say, seven in 1966 and three so far in 1968. Five schools are at present being built in the county, and I expect that contracts for 12 more will be placed within the next two years.
