Vol. 237 No. 6

Ceisteanna — Questions. Oral Answers. - Moy Drainage Scheme Extensions.

4.

asked the Minister for Finance if he is aware that many farmers in the Dromore West and Tubbercurry electoral areas of County Sligo, who applied for extensions of the Moy drainage scheme, were told that such extensions would be favourably considered when the main drainage system was contemplated; if those extensions will be carried out; and when it is expected that work will commence on them.

There are more than 50 applications from these areas for extensions to the Moy scheme. All the applications will be investigated and any additional works approved will be carried out before the scheme is completed.
