A supply of water for the Portrane-Donabate area is dependent on the construction of the spinal trunk main for the North Dublin Regional Water Supply Scheme, work on which is now well advanced. Final contract documents for the distribution system for the Portrane-Donabate area were submitted to my Department recently and are at present under consideration. I hope to be in a position to convey a decision thereon shortly.
