Vol. 237 No. 9

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Killorglin (Kerry) School.

105.

asked the Minister for Education the present position regarding the building of a new school at Glounagillagh, Caragh Lake, Killorglin, County Kerry.

My Department are at present carrying out an investigation of the educational facilities in the Glounaguillagh and adjoining school districts with a view to deciding whether a new central school should be erected at Glounaguillagh. The investigation is at an advanced stage and it is hoped that a final decision will be taken at an early date.

When this matter has been decided, my Department will take up with the manager the question of carrying out at the existing school such works, including the provision of suitable sanitary accomodation, as will render it serviceable for such period as it is likely to continue in use.
