Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Telephone Charges.

36.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs when sanction was given by the Government for the proposed increases in certain types of telephone calls which were not mentioned in the recent Budget; and if he will make a statement on this matter.

The increases referred to were approved by the Government before the 5th November. In the course of his Budget statement The Taoiseach said that he was referring only to the principal changes in Post Office rates.

Details of the increases are contained in the lists of revised charges which have been circulated to Deputies.
