42.

asked the Minister for Local Government what is the position in regard to the erection of council houses at Millstreet, County Cork and when work is likely to commence on them.

43.

asked the Minister for Local Government what is the position in regard to the erection of four council houses at Rathcoole, Mallow, County Cork; and when they will be erected.

With your permission, a Cheann Comhairle, I propose to take Questions Nos. 41, 42 and 43 together.

I am informed by Cork County Council that work is in progress on an eight-house scheme at Boherbue; and that work on schemes of eight houses at Millstreet and four at Rathcoole will be commenced as soon as the necessary contract documents have been completed by the contractors.

44.

asked the Minister for Local Government when he will sign the compulsory purchase order in regard to the erection of two council houses at Donoughmore, County Cork, and one at Ballinagree, County Cork.

I have before me no compulsory purchase order for the acquisition of housing sites in the townlands of Donoughmore and Ballinagree, Co. Cork. However, the South Cork (No. 2) Order, 1968, included two sites in the postal district of Donoughmore. On the 29th October, 1968, I confirmed the order in respect of these sites.
