asked the Minister for Finance the overtime rate, by reference to time rate, in respect of overtime on (a) Monday to Friday inclusive (b) Saturdays (c) Sundays and (d) Public Holidays applicable to employees of the Office of Public Works in (1) rural areas (2) Dublin county and (3) other urban areas.

Drainage Schemes:
Labourers and allied classes, drivers, gangers, works clerks, storekeeper clerks, building tradesmen	1¼-time for all hours worked	1¼-time for all hours worked	1½-time for all hours worked	1½-time for all hours worked
Engineering Tradesmen	Normal stopping time to midnight—1½-time	Normal starting time to 1.00 p.m.—1½-time		2-time

Foremen and Assesors	These grades are paid a gratuity annually of a round sum calculated at time-and-a-quarter on all overtime worked
