Vol. 237 No. 12

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Kerry School.

82.

asked the Minister for Education the present position regarding proposed repairs and improvements for Raheen national school in the parish of Glenflesk, County Kerry.

I would refer the Deputy to my reply to his Question regarding this school on 5th March, 1968.

The Commissioners of Public Works have since carried out minor essential repairs to the school. As it will take a period of four to five years before the new central school at Barraduff will be erected and ready for occupation, my Department is now authorising the provision of improved sanitary facilities at Raheen school and the carrying out of such further repairs as are considered necessary to render the school serviceable for as long as it is likely to continue in use.
