asked the Minister for Transport and Power the number of diesel locomotives bought by CIE during the last ten years, the date of each purchase, the cost of each purchase and the total cost of the purchases; whether any customs duty was paid; if so, how much; from whom each such purchase was made; and through what Irish agent.

As the reply is in the form of a tabular statement I propose, with your permission, a Cheann Comhairle, to have it circulated with the Official Report.
