Vol. 237 No. 15

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Dublin Traffic Congestion.

9.

asked the Minister for Local Government if there are any proposals before his Department for easing traffic congestion in Dublin especially during peak hours; and, if so, the nature and extent of these proposals.

There are at present no proposals awaiting decision in my Department for easing traffic congestion in Dublin. I would refer the Deputy to my reply to Question No. 41 on 5th December in which I outlined the measures being taken to deal with the problem of increasing traffic volumes in the city.
