Vol. 238 No. 3

Ceisteanna — Questions. Oral Answers. - Crumlin (Dublin) Traffic Interruptions.

37.

asked the Minister for Local Government how long the traffic on Kildare Road, Crumlin, Dublin has already been interrupted; and how long will be taken to finish the work in progress and in contemplation.

The work at present in progress on this road is being executed by the Dublin Corporation with the aid of an Employment Schemes grant. I am advised by the corporation that the work commenced on 23rd September and is expected to be completed by the end of May, but that the corporation may proceed with proposals for further schemes on sections of this road.

It is a very long time to have the road out of action.

It is out of action for a good while.

I know. I see it coming in every morning.
