Vol. 238 No. 4

Ceisteanna—Questions Oral Answers. - Cashel (Tipperary) School.

58.

(South Tipperary) asked the Minister for Education what steps he is taking towards the provision of a senior cycle school at Cashel, County Tipperary where there is at present a post-primary enrolment of about 380 pupils.

The whole question of senior cycle provision will be dealt with in a report shortly to be issued by my Department. The report will be discussed with all the interests involved before any decisions are made. Until this is done, I am not in a position to say what the position will be in Cashel.
