Grants to milk processing concerns for the provision of milk processing and handling equipment, including bulk haulage equipment, are made by An Foras Tionscal. It is the practice of that body to seek the views of my Department in such cases, and each application is considered on its merits. One of the main factors taken into account is the extent to which creamery rationalisation in the area concerned would be assisted.
