As I have already informed the House, I set up a Road Transport Study Group to examine the desirability of further measures of liberalisation of road freight transport for reward. On my direction the Group gave urgent priority consideration to the question of the facilities available for the carriage of livestock and it has now furnished its recommendations to me on that subject.
I am at present examining these recommendations but I am not yet in a position to make a statement in the matter.
