asked the Minister for Local Government if he will state in respect of counties Meath, Louth and Dublin in relation to each compulsory purchase order (i) made or confirmed in 1968-69 or (ii) awaiting confirmation at present (a) the date on which the order was made, (b) the date on which the inquiry was held and (c) the purpose for which the land in the order is required.

As the reply is in the form of a tabular statement, I propose with your permission, a Cheann Comhairle, to circulate it with the Official Report.

3. Dublin County Council Compulsory Purchase (Housing Act, 1966) No. 1 Order, 1968.

30th August, 1968.

5th February, 1969 adjourned to 26th February, 1969.

4. Dublin County Council Compulsory Purchase (Bray Road Improvement) Order, 1968.

6. Dublin County Council (Santry By- Pass Scheme) Compulsory Purchase Order, 1963. (It is understood that the local authority do not intend to proceed with this order but they have not so far withdrawn it formally).

The provision of a new section of the Dublin-Belfast Road by-passing Santry village.

7. Dublin County Council Compulsory Purchase (Labourers Acts) No. 2 Order, 1965. (This Order is undetermined only as respects a site at Garristown—the balance was con- firmed on 25th April, 1966).

10th February, 1966. The inquiry was adjourned sine die as respects a site at Garris-town for which it is understood alternative arrangements are being investigated by the local authority.
