I propose with your permission, a Cheann Comhairle, to take Questions Nos. 32 to 37 together.

I understand that in mid-January, 1969, Dublin Corporation had 4,801 families on their approved waiting list. These included 1,410 families of 3 persons, 1,360 of 4 persons, 812 of 5 persons, 325 of 6 persons and 207 families of 7 or more persons. In addition, a further 500 cases then in course of inspection were expected to be included on the approved waiting list. Details of these cases are not available.

Are the persons on the approved list living at present either in condemned premises or in premises which have been declared by the local authority's medical officer as unfit for human habitation?

No, not them all.

Then would the bulk of them——

Some of them, a small percentage.

Most of them are subtenants.

The majority are in overcrowded conditions.

Can the Minister indicate when all the people in the various categories will be housed?

That does not arise.

Sin ceist eile. It was not one of these questions.
