Vol. 238 No. 8

Ceisteanna—Questions Oral Answers. - Higher Education Authority Working Parties.

67.

Mr. O'Malley, Mr. T. O'Donnell

andMr. Coughlan asked the Minister for Education whether it was at their own request that a professor from Cork and a professor from Galway were appointed to the Limerick sub-committee of the Higher Education Authority.

The selection of members of working parties of the Higher Education Authority is one solely for the Authority, which is an autonomous body. Accordingly, I have no information on the point raised in the Deputies' question.
