asked the Minister for Local Government the proposals before his Department from the Waterford County Council for sanction to build houses; the date on which each was received by his Department; and when it is intended that sanction will be given in each case.

asked the Minister for Local Government if he will give details of all plans for housing with his Department from Waterford County Council.

With your permission, a Cheann Comhairle, I propose to take Questions Nos. 20 and 21 together.

The only proposal from the council which is before my Department at present relates to the Kilmacomma housing scheme in respect of which a negotiated tender for ten houses was submitted for approval on 9th ultimo. This proposal is under examination in conjunction with the housing authority and a decision on it will be given as soon as possible.

asked the Minister for Local Government if he will give details of all plans for housing at present with his Department from Tipperary South Riding County Council.

The only housing proposal from the council which is before my Department at present is one for the acceptance of a tender for a single cottage at Laganore. This proposal was received on Friday last, and is being approved.
