I am informed by Bord na Móna that a general inspection has revealed that there are no bogs in Counties Sligo and Leitrim suitable for development by the Board's present methods.
There is, however, no restriction on the development of these bogs by contractors, by which I presume the Deputy means private producers, using other methods. Bord na Móna gives any assistance possible by way of advice when requested by such producers.
