An Chomhairle Oiliúna have already established two training centres, one each at Shannon and Waterford and intend to open a third centre at Galway about the middle of this year. They plan to establish a fourth and larger training centre for the Dublin area during 1970.
These centres will aim mainly at providing training to meet the urgent needs of industry in general for semiskilled workers.
Further development of adult training in this way will depend on experience gained in the operation of the first four centres.
