Vol. 238 No. 16

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Kerry New School.

45.

asked the Minister for Education on what date it is proposed to erect a new national school in Kilgarvan, County Kerry.

I understand from the Commissioners of Public Works that the site offered by the manager for the proposed central school at Kilgarvan is generally suitable. The Commissioners will now undertake the preparation of sketch-plans and an estimate of cost for the new school and the manager will be asked to produce satisfactory evidence of title to the site, so that the remaining arrangements, leading to the invitation of tenders and the placing of the contract, may proceed.

I cannot say, at this stage, when building work will commence.
