With your permission, Sir, I propose to circulate in the Official Report a statement giving the price of petrol per gallon as listed in the Automobile Association leaflet which, it is understood, relates to November, 1968. The prices taken are those quoted in sterling per imperial gallon, the sterling equivalents being based on the current exchange rates at the time the leaflet went to press.
