Vol. 239 No. 2

Ceisteanna — Questions. Oral Answers. - Clare Flooding.

59.

Mr. S. Barrett

asked the Minister for Finance if he will take such steps as are necessary to prevent the recurrent flooding of part of Ennis, County Clare.

Flooding in Ennis could be considered by the Commissioners of Public Works only as part of an arterial drainage scheme for the Fergus catchment as a whole which will be dealt with in its turn in the arterial drainage programme.
