Vol. 239 No. 2

Ceisteanna — Questions. Oral Answers. - County Limerick Estate.

84.

asked the Minister for Lands if the Kilfrush Estate, County Limerick has been taken over by the Land Commission; if not, when it is intended to take it over; and when it will be distributed among local uneconomic holders.

Proceedings are in progress for compulsory acquisition by the Land Commission of an area of 219 acres on this Estate and an objection lodged on behalf of the owners is at present pending for determination.

I wonder would the Minister give the House an idea when a decision will be made in this matter?

This has already come for hearing and it is adjourned until 26th March.

Will it be finalised then?

I hope so, but, of course, it is a matter for the Commissioners.
