Vol. 239 No. 2

Order of Business.

It is proposed to take Nos. 2 and 17 and, in No. 17, Votes 42 and 48, and No. 18, and Vote 42 will be taken with No. 18. There will be no Private Members' Business by agreement.

(Cavan): In view of the fact that the Minister for Local Government has not circulated his Planning Appeals Bill, may I ask the Taoiseach when it is proposed to take No. 1 on the Order Paper which is a Planning Appeals Bill standing in my name?

Certainly not this side of Easter anyway.

(Cavan): Would the Taoiseach then try to encourage the Minister for Local Government to circulate his Planning Appeals Bill which I presume is somewhat similar?

His is better and that is why the Deputy's Bill was not accepted.

(Cavan): We could decide that if we saw it. It seems to be a top secret at the moment.

Any change would be an improvement.

On the Deputy's Bill.

Has it been decided when the House will rise for Easter?

The end of next week is usual, the week before Holy Week.

Has the date of the Budget been fixed?
