Vol. 239 No. 5

Order of Business.

It is proposed to take Business as follows: Nos. 2, 18, and in 18 Votes 48, 12, 16, 47, 21 and 32 in that order; Nos. 13, 14 and 15; questions at 2.30 p.m.

I wish to give notice that I intend, with your permission, to raise on the Adjournment this evening the question of the action being taken by the Government to offset the latest increase in mortgage interest rates of building societies.

The Chair will communicate with Deputy Belton.

May I direct your attention, a Cheann Comhairle, to the fact that No. 18 is described as Supplementary Estimates. In fact, some of these are Substantive Estimates.

The health ones.

They are all Supplementary Estimates but on some of them, including Health, a full debate is allowed.

With respect, Sir, I was not allowed a full debate yesterday on the basis that it was a Supplementary Estimate.

The matters referred to by the Deputy were not relevant. That is the reason they were ruled out of order.

As simple as that.
