Vol. 239 No. 9

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Ballyfermot (Dublin) Playground.

asked the Minister for Local Government if he will state the reason for the delay in giving sanction to the Dublin Corporation's proposal to spend £800 approximately upon the removal of an obstructive mound at the playground end of Ballyfermot Crescent, Dublin; and if he will have this matter dealt with speedily.

Approval was given last week to a proposal of Dublin Corporation to pave sections of open space in Ballyfermot in order to provide direct vehicular access to certain dwellings in the scheme and car parking facilities for the tenants. The proposal had to be considered in conjunction with a number of similar proposals affecting other housing schemes in which issues of development, design, landscaping and cost arose.
