Vol. 239 No. 9

Written Answers. - Land Holdings in Meath and Dublin.

105.

asked the Minister for Lands if he will state in respect of land occupied by the Land Commission in Counties Meath and Dublin (a) the area and location, (b) the date on which it was acquired and (c) the likely date of allocation.

Final statistics of land settlement activities generally for the financial year just ended are not yet available. Last month represented the peak of the allotment season and until such time as details of the various properties divided have been notified to headquarters it is not feasible to state precisely the statistical position regarding lands in the possession of the Land Commission.

In the circumstances, perhaps the Deputy would repeat the question in about a month's time when a more realistic assessment of the position should be feasible.
