asked the Minister for Justice if he will state in respect of each county in the State for the year ended 31st December, 1968 (a) how many applications were made to county registrars for determination of disputes by arbitration under the provisions of the Landlord and Tenant (Ground Rents) Act, 1967; (b) how many appeals against orders of county registrars under the provisions of the Act were heard by the Circuit Court and (c) how many appeals against decisions of the Circuit Court given in appeals under the provisions of the Act were heard by the High Court.

The answer is in the form of a tabular statement which I propose, with your permission, a Cheann Comhairle, to circulate with the Official Report.

The following is the statement:

Landlord and Tenant (Ground Rents) Act, 1967.

PARTICULARS showing, in respect of the year ended 31st December, 1968, (a) the number of applications made to County Registrars for determination of disputes by arbitration under the provisions of the Act, (b) the number of appeals against orders of County Registrars heard by the Circuit Court under the provisions of the Act and (c) the number of appeals heard by the High Court against decisions of the Circuit Court given in appeals under the provisions of the Act.
