Vol. 239 No. 10

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Kerry Manpower Survey.

10.

asked the Minister for Finance whether, having regard to the number of industrialists inquiring as to the potential labour force in various parts of Kerry, he will arrange for the County Kerry Development Team to carry out a comprehensive manpower survey in the county.

I am making arrangements to conduct surveys of the labour potential of certain areas on a pilot basis. County Kerry has been selected as one of the areas to be surveyed because of the number of industrial and tourist promoters who have become interested in projects in Kerry. The County Development Team has already conducted limited labour surveys in the county.
