Vol. 239 No. 11

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Water Schemes.

6.

asked the Minister for Local Government the present position in regard to the proposed group water scheme at Shanavoher, Mallow, County Cork.

The source of water originally proposed for a much larger scheme will now be used to provide a small pressure system for six houses. Provided the financial resources are adequate, work on the scheme should commence within a month.

7.

asked the Minister for Local Government if the water supply will be extended from the crossroad at Gordons of Maugheron, County Sligo, to Carrigans national school via Cloughboley PO to Raughley which would serve about 20 homes and the national school.

I would refer the Deputy to my reply to Question No. 10 of the 13th ultimo concerning the balance of section 3 of the North Sligo Regional Water Supply Scheme, in which the areas referred to are included.
