No application has been received for an extension of the Moy drainage works through the town-lands of Montragh, Bunnaghcrannagh and Ballyglass. If an application is made it will be examined.

A large number of applications for extension of the Moy drainage works has been received. All of these will be examined before the scheme is completed.
The Parliamentary Secretary did not answer my question. I asked him to name the extensions to the Moy Scheme which it is proposed to carry out in County Sligo.
I do not think this would be possible by way of Parliamentary Question and reply. There are so many applications for extensions to this as well as to every other scheme that it would probably take the remainder of the afternoon to read them out.
I did not ask for the proposals at all. I asked for the extensions which it is proposed to carry out; in other words, the extensions already sanctioned.
The Deputy's question does not specifically ask for extensions already sanctioned. As he probably knows, as a scheme like this proceeds there is constant demand for additions and extensions to it. There is no such thing as an up-to-date list of extensions of this kind because they continue to come in all the time.
