asked the Minister for Local Government if Kerry County Council will arrange to have extra lights erected in Cahirciveen town as the present number there is not adequate.

42.

asked the Minister for Local Government if Kerry County Council will have the number of lights in Killorglin town increased at an early date as the present lighting arrangements are entirely inadequate.

With your permission, a Cheann Comhairle, I propose to take Questions Nos. 41 and 42 together.

The improvement of public lighting in the towns of Cahirciveen and Killorglin is a matter for the Kerry County Council. There are no proposals before my Department on the subject.
