Vol. 240 No. 3

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Dublin Mobile Libraries.

asked the Minister for Local Government if he will expedite sanction of the necessary moneys for the provision of two mobile libraries for County Dublin.

I have recently approved of Dublin County Council's proposal to raise a loan of £7,000 for this purpose and the council have been informed that there is no objection to the invitation of tenders for these vehicles.

Can we take it that, as a result of this sanction, all small villages and towns in the county will now have the facility of a mobile library?

They are setting it up at Doyle's Corner.

I asked the Minister, not the Deputy.

It is a stupid question and——

I understand that is the intention.

They are going to station it at Doyle's Corner.

Will Deputy Harte please control himself?
