asked the Minister for Finance whether he is aware that the Ballymacart national school, Old Parish, County Waterford, remains unfinished by the contractor despite repeated requests by the school manager; and if in the circumstances he will give sanction for the remaining work to be carried out by someone else.

There are still some items of work outstanding at this school which was opened in October last. Despite pressure, the contractor has failed to finish them and the Commissioners of Public Works are now making arrangements for their completion.
