Vol. 240 No. 6

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Sligo Schools.

16.

asked the Minister for Education if he has considered closing Dunally or Calry national schools, County Sligo; and if so, if he will send down one of his senior inspectors to hold a meeting with the parents of the children concerned before he takes such action.

My Department recently proposed the merging of Calry National School with Dunally National School. I will send a senior inspector to discuss the matter with the parents at a meeting, if they so wish.
