Vol. 240 No. 7

Order of Business.

It is proposed to take business as follows: Nos. 19, 4, 5 and 20. If not already reached, it is proposed to take Nos. 4, 5 and 20 at 6 p.m. and, when completed, to resume the order.

I wonder would the Taoiseach be able to tell us what business it is proposed to complete before the summer recess?

Or the dissolution.

I would need to get notice of that but off-hand we want to complete the Budget debate, we want to take the Finance Bill, it is hoped to complete the Health Bill and the Criminal Justice Bill. That is only off the cuff now. If the Deputy wants more information he can ask me tomorrow.

The Taoiseach says it is hoped to do all these things. It is hoped to complete the Health Bill and the Criminal Justice Bill but the Finance Bill will be completed. Right?

(Cavan): What about Social Welfare?

Would the Taoiseach say whether it is proposed to take No. 22 on the Order Paper in this session or before the Dáil dissolves?

I saw a fellow down in the hall today with a camera marked "General Election", a Deputy of the Labour Party.

This is not very funny. It may be funny to Deputy Dillon. We are only talking about farm workers; that may be funny to Deputy Dillon.

Funny, my foot. I was working for farm workers before the Deputy ever heard of them.

That probably explains why farm workers' conditions are still so bad. Would the Taoiseach say if it is proposed to take this small Bill dealing with farm workers before the summer recess and before the general election because it has been put back and back on the Order Paper for the last two months?

I cannot say off-hand because I do not remember the full content of the Bill but if the Deputy will ask me again tomorrow——

Will the Taoiseach have more information about my question tomorrow morning?

Perhaps, tomorrow morning.

The Taoiseach is full of information.
