The only plans for a rehabilitation centre for Sligo, which I have before me at present, relate to a proposed bungalow or hostel at Cregg House for the rehabilitation of moderately handicapped girls.
Officers of my Department discussed this proposal a few months ago with its sponsors—the Sligo Association of Parents and Friends of Mentally Handicapped Children, who promised to supply further information in connection with it. This information has only just been received and is being examined.
