Vol. 240 No. 9

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Ballymun (Dublin) Postal and Telephone Facilities.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if he is aware that the residents of Ballymun housing and flats estate are anxious to have a post office and more telephone kiosks on the estate; and what action he proposes to take to provide these facilities.

As intimated in my reply to a similar question on 14th November, 1968, a sub-post office will be provided for the estate when the projected shopping centre has been developed. Arrangements are being made to provide a further public telephone in the estate in addition to the five already in service. Additional public telephones will be provided as the need for them arises.
