asked the Minister for Education if he will take steps to have the National Museum open up to midnight in the tourist season.

asked the Minister for Education if he will take steps to have the National Gallery open up to midnight in the tourist season.

With your permission, a Cheann Chomhairle, I propose to take Questions Nos. 130 and 131 together.

Experiments tried over long periods have shown that the existing hours of opening are adequate. The extension suggested by the Deputy would not, therefore, be warranted.
