Vol. 241 No. 8

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Innishboffin (Donegal) Pier.

11.

asked the Minister for Agriculture and Fisheries if he will give sympathetic consideration to a demand for an extension to the pier at Innishboffin, County Donegal, in view of the larger type of boat now using this pier and in the general interest of improved safety.

Innishboffin, County Donegal, is among the places which have been inspected by the survey team which I set up to make an up-to-date appraisal of fishery ports and landing facilities required to meet the present and expected needs of the fishing industry on the County Donegal coast. Until I receive and examine the team's report I cannot say what improvement works, if any, may be approved for execution on Innishboffin Island.
