Vol. 241 No. 10

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Dublin Development Plan.

47.

asked the Minister for Local Government when Dublin Corporation will be in a position to announce the decisions on the objections lodged to the various proposals contained in the Draft Development Plan, 1968.

An application has been made to me by the planning authority requesting a further extension of time to the 31st December, 1970, for the making of the development plan for the County Borough of Dublin. This application is at present being considered.

In view of the fact that 3,418 objections and representations have been received and that oral hearings have been sought in almost 1,700 cases, it is estimated by the planning authority that such an extension of time will be necessary so as to afford sufficient time for full consideration of the cases made.
