It is proposed to discharge the order for taking the Immature Spirits (Restriction) Bill, 1969, tomorrow and take it today instead. May I ask the Minister for Finance if he intends to re-introduce the Central Bank Bill, which, he will remember, he had introduced prior to the dissolution, before Christmas?
I should like to take it before Christmas but I doubt if there will be time.
Not even to introduce it?
The introduction, as the Deputy knows, is only a matter of minutes but I do not think we can take it before Christmas.
