The balance in the Hospitals Trust Fund on 10th November, 1969, was £153,834.
Does the Minister think that plans will be of any assistance in the problem of the colossal deficits of voluntary hospitals, much less to talk of capital expenditure over the next year?
It is very seriously depleted.
I am glad the Minister says so. Last week, his colleague said it is not serious. I agree that it is serious.
